Jane Park

Jane is a Senior Consultant at IER, bringing nearly 14 years of experience in research and evaluation across the tourism and events sectors. Based in Brisbane, Jane manages and delivers comprehensive event evaluations for clients across the sports, cultural and participation sectors. She leads projects from end to end, coordinating research design, data collection, stakeholder engagement, analysis and reporting – ensuring IER delivers insights that drive client strategy and enhance the value and legacy of their events.

Prior to joining IER, she held senior roles in research at a state government agency, where she led teams and large-scale research programs, including behavioural, experiential, economic and social impact evaluations for all DNSW-managed and invested events. She worked across a wide range of events of all types and scales, while contributing to business processes and innovation in evaluation methodologies. Her expertise also spans tourism and corporate performance reporting, providing strategic development support and investment assessments, underpinned by a deep understanding of both government priorities and stakeholder needs.

With a strong foundation in research methodologies and analytical skills, Jane brings rigour and depth to every stage of the evaluation process. She focuses on turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that empower clients to make informed decisions and deliver events with lasting impact on audiences, communities, and the economy.

She holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology and Statistics) and a Master of Science in Organisational Psychology.
