Market Research & Economic Impact Study

Beyond the Valley (commonly known as BTV) is a multi-day music festival held annually at Barunah Plains Homestead in Hesse, Victoria, Australia over the New Year’s Eve period. It has previously taken place at Phillip Island Circuit, Phillip Island and Lardner Park, Warragul. The event is run by Untitled Group.

Untitled Group commissioned IER to conduct a market research and economic impact assessment of the event. The study aimed to quantify the impacts on the host region as well as the State. IER undertook online research and together with data provided by the event organiser, produced an economic evaluation of the event.

IER has also undertaken similar studies for Untitled Group for their Wildlands, Pitch and Grapevine and music festivals around Australia, as well as for recent concerts by Dom Dolla and Anyma & Friends.
